L’association Café Khayyam vous invite à une soirée poétique et musicale, imprégnée d’amitié, de convivialité et de simplicité. Rejoignez-nous pour célébrer la vie au rythme de la musique du monde et de la poésie perse, en compagnie des mots intemporels de Khayyam, qui résonnent comme une ode à l’instant présent.
Cette petite soirée poétique et musicale aura lieu le samedi 4 janvier au café Mamakin dans le 19ème arrondissement de Paris.

MORAN MAGAL is a versatile Israeli singer - songwriter with a deep mesmerising signature voice and a gifted pianist. After years of performing as a solo artist, Moran moved to Berlin and established her band under her name, and released on 2019 their album UNDER YOUR BED that has been receiving countless praising reviews from international webzines, bloggers and printed Metal Magazines such as Metallian, Rock it Magazine, Orkus Magazine, FireWorks Magazine, and Metal Temple who ranked the album 10 out of 10.

Nelson Santos Berlin based Portuguese artist who's work explores the human form and the dichotomy between beautiful and ugly.
His concepts go against ideals of beauty brought by main stream propaganda of fashion and cosmetics multi millions companies.
Using the macabre and sometimes extreme deformity, Nelson message is that all human forms are beautiful and should be embraced because our ‘imperfections’ are what makes us unique in our own form and therefore beautiful.

Following the ongoing development with the global Covid-19 outbreak the Fall in Berlin 2020 will happen under strict hygiene and security rules and on a smaller scale:
1. The number of guests attending Fall in Berlin 2020 will be limited to 60 ticket holders only.
2.Anti-bacterial disinfectant will be available in all toilets, performance rooms, and common areas. Guests are encouraged to wash and disinfect their hands regularly, and maintain safe distance.
3.Before, between, and after each performance,the concert hall will be aired and surfaces disinfected.

Le 1 mars 2020 Café Khayyam rendra hommage à Mahmoud Darwich, l'un des plus grands poètes palestiniens.
Au cours de sa vie, Mahmoud Darwich a publié vingt volumes de poésie et plusieurs ouvrages en prose.
Sa poésie chante la guerre, l'exil mais aussi l'amour.
Lors de cette soirée particulière nous lirons certains de ses poèmes en français, en persan et en arabe, accompagnés de musique comme toujours.

Ce sera un grand jour puisque nous fêterons le quatrième anniversaire de notre association.

Un duo iconique, réputé inséparable où l’un a initié l’autre au mysticisme iranien aujourd’hui séculaire, il est bien sûr question de Shams-e Tabrizi et de Jallaledin el Rûmi. Le maître spirituel de ce grand maître à penser lui a par ailleurs inspiré l’écriture du recueil de poèmes intitulé Diwan-e Shams-e Tabrîzî (« Les travaux de Shams de Tabriz »).
Ensemble, nous jouirons d’une récitation de poèmes choisis, précieux par le patrimoine qu’ils révèlent et par le message qu’ils véhiculent. Ils sont un pur joyau de littérature.
Imprégnez-vous de ces textes, profitez par ailleurs de la danse de Sama (communément appelée danse des derviches tourneurs) et laissez-vous bercer par l’instrumental traditionnel qui accompagnera ces récitations.
Récitation par ailleurs bilingue, en persan et en français.
